Our Type of Day Disney Dream Style

It is easier than you think to set sail close to home. We're located in the Northeast, and Dream Vacations can help you set sail just a stone's throw away from home. You may wonder how you might spend your days among the excitement, relations, and exploration. Join us on our third day aboard the Disney Dream!

We started this day much like the others--in lazy mode. The older kids had stayed up pretty late in the kid's clubs, and the youngest watched movies until his heart was content. We engaged in the leisurely activity of watching the ship dock in Bermuda. Having no plans scheduled in the area, we still wanted to take advantage of the incredible destination and beautiful weather. Since we were waiting for the kids to rise and shine, we stopped at the Cove cafe for a coffee treat. We returned the coffee to the room and had the opportunity to watch the Disney crew serve the lifeboats. It was fascinating and isn't necessarily an activity you write home about, but here I am. It's nice to see the upkeep around the ship. Just as I was tired of watching the men attaching their safety harnesses to scale the swing lifeboat, the children were ready.

Bermuda's cruise port is perfect for shopping and pondering the area's history. We walked along the forts and entered the shops. We watched a customer barter and then abandoned the idea when he realized the commercialized aspect of the port. We introduced our children to the trinket world of Diamonds International while we sought out the perfect souvenir. After a few hours, we returned to the ship to take advantage of a port day where fewer passengers might be riding the Aquaduct.

We had a generally lazy day by the pools. We rode the Aquaduct a few times and read books under the Bermuda sun. As the afternoon went on, more families began to join us on the pool deck. Since we were there for some time, we decided to return to the room and freshen up. Shortly after, we headed to the atrium to take pictures with characters. There were at least three characters out. We snapped a photo with my favorite and watched others enjoy the characters they wanted to see. After all the looky lue in the atrium, we worked up an appetite just in time for dinner.

Royal Palace was the dinner location on our third night. We enjoyed the garden atmosphere and tried a few appetizers we had not tried before. Having filled our bellies, we were able to think about what activities we wanted to enjoy that evening. We opened the cruise app to see what the night may bring. We decided to take in the magic show with Kid Ace first. It is incredible how magic works. We're not talking magic for kids, either. After a good show, we headed to the adult 90s music show. Now, if I said the magic show wasn't for kids, neither was the Music Show! Disney travelers can get down with the rest of those cruise partiers out there. For a clip of our day, check out our YouTube channel. That sums up our type of day Disney Cruise style. We headed to our cabin for some chocolates and lay our heads on the pillows.
